Economy class on 777-300er to IST

Economy class on 777-300er to IST
Does any one have any input on economy class from jfk to ist. seat comfort and comparison to other airlines? Is there upgrade possibility for flights in august?

I think seats both in Y and C are more comfy than Lufthansa and all US carriers, United, Delta, Continental, US.
Unless you have a TK Miles&Smiles Elite Plus or Elite card, it's very unlikely that you can get an upgrade with your *G card.
