But it's been 6 weeks since 11/15, I still don't have my card and the website does not have any update. Should I re-do the interview again? Any other place I can check the status?

did this ever get finished? Send me your Pass ID if not.

After quickly getting through CA and getting a walk-in interview on 2/5 it seems that I'm now stuck in this situation. I PM'd maninblack, hopefully he's still able to help out.

Update (2/19): Finally got the approval notification today after having my gf ask about my situation during her GE interview. Thanks to MIB for the assist.

Thanks for the posts here, especially from maninblack...helped reassure me that some final approvals just take a little time (I had read in other threads about approvals coming in minutes or hours in many cases, so was wondering why my app was pending in “conditional approval” after interview).

I just got final approval today after renewal interview last Thursday evening at CLT. Seems like processing sometimes takes a few days...4 business days in my case.

I've been waiting close to two months since my global interview. I've talked to someone at the 877 # a couple of times, and they say someone at the airport interview center didn't push a button or something but that all looks good...the person I went with got their approval in hours. They said they "expedited" it, but it doesn't seem to have helped. I've called the airport office at their advice but it's only an answering machine and they apparently do not return calls. I've been trying to contact the 877 number for the past couple of days and it rings busy. This is crazy. I'm thinking of heading down to the airport office, but I know they're swamped and will probably just tell me to wait. Very frustrating.

Frustrating Global Entry experience

My wife and I applied in January of 2020, got conditionally approved fairly quickly, and set up and interview for Newark airport in New Jersey. Amidst the pandemic, our interviews got cancelled twice before I finally got in the first week of November 2020. We both go in at the same time, my wife was done literally within five minutes and she left the center while the agent that I had continued to ask me easy routine questions, all which I answered politely. He then hands me a Global Entry fact sheet and we conclude the interview. I catch up with my wife and noticed that her agent handed her a completely difference paper informing her that she can begin to use her global entry today. She gets an email updating her status to final approval but I got no email and my status has not changed since being conditionally approved. I called the center up and they told me my application is “pending” that I should check on it next week. Well, it’s been over a week since my interview and no status change and when I called the main CBP number, the agent was helpful and said that he would “escalate my ticket for resolution” and that it would take an up to an additional three weeks!!

Has anyone gone through such an experience? This is so frustrating.

And just for the record I have NO criminal record and have never been arrested or detained for any reason.

You may wish to look through this long thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/show...ferrerid=22732

It can be a number of reasons why you have not received your final approval yet. The most common one is someone forgot to click "approve".

Welcome to FlyerTalk Cacique!

I merged your question into the relevant thread.

Sometimes it takes a while for the report of the fingerprints LiveScan results to get back to the enrollment center.

Thanks I appreciate it. I’ve been through livescan before because I’m currently a law enforcement officer myself but it has never taken this long. I do have a common name with no middle name so perhaps that can be adding to the confusion. SMH. Everyone in my family got final approval and received their cards except for me.

My pleasure.

Take a look at some of the older messages in this thread beginning with my post from August 15 of last year.

I was conditionally approved for renewal in January and then didn't do the interview until December because of COVID. My GE would've normally expired in July. As usual, the interview was 5 minutes and the agent said I'd get a new card in the mail. However, my account still says I'm conditionally approved and "Have interview, and wait for approval" isn't checked off. Should I be worrying about that?

Data point:
My status never moved from "Conditionally Approved" a week after an entry upon arrival interview at SFO. As per the advice in the thread, I called the station at SFO several times, and left a message to no avail, so called LAX. The lady at LAX said she could see that it was approved, but that SFO never hit "approved", so SFO needed to fix it, there was nothing that she could do.

This evening I called SFO back at 10:15 PM, and an agent finally answered. He said "Hmm, yea, it says 'will be approved', but the agent never approved it. Let me do it for you now ... tap-tap-tap, done" The TTP website updated immediately, and the email came 5 minutes later.

Another data point:

Same thing happened to me at DFW. Wife & I had our interview the last week in July, she received the email showing her approval status a couple days later. Fast forward to today and I've received nothing and online it doesn't even show that I ever had an interview. I've tried calling the DFW office a few times but was never able to get through to a live human and getting rolled to voice mail just produced the message that their voice mail box was full.

Finally today I got smart and called the Austin office. Someone actually answered the phone immediately and said pretty much the same thing, someone never clicked the right button. I had the email before I was off the call.

I have been waiting since Monday, the officer told me 24-48 hours. Thanks!

How do I reply back?

Reply back to what?

maninblack has not posted on FlyerTalk in longer than a year and a half and has not logged on since the beginning of this month.

You may want to send him a private message, although there is no guarantee that he will read it or respond to it.

Many people had luck getting the final approval by calling the enrollment center where their interview took place. A list of the enrollment centers which has their phone numbers is linked in the wikipost in the Global Entry Enrollment Centers Locations/Information thread.

Good luck!
