Quick renewal!
Applied for renewal: Oct 4, 2016
Approved (no interview required): Nov 1, 2016 I applied six months prior to expiration since I expected a 10-12 week review period and then an interview. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. The new expiration date is a 5 years and 5 months from now :D |

Renewed 11/7
Approved 12/21 No interview required I renewed [Moderator note: Global Entry] (as part of NEXUS renewal) recently. I wasn't due to expire until May. They simply extended the expiration by 5 years as expected (to 2022) once approved. I did get an extra year by doing my original NEXUS membership in the summer shortly after my birthday, back in 2011 (had made the mistake of GE first that time, so paid for BOTH programs originally, with GE in 2010 IIRC). |

Thank you for sharing. Is your new NEXUS valid for five years from previous expiration date or five years from your next birthday?
