Additional US Global Entry applications
If you are a very FT to the US like I am, then getting Global Entry is probably the best perk a non-US citizen can get and rarely gets a mention.
For the uninitiated it allows a very fast transfer through CBP to the street, even at very busy airports. Typically I am landside inside 15 mins from disembarking even at DFW/JFK/LAX which are notorious for delays.
In addition I can get TSA-Pre while flying domestic which greatly avoids the hassle of getting laptops/fluids/shoes out for inspection and queuing.
My question, for a non-US citizen to get this you need an Airline individual code to proceed with the application and BA now have none (or not releasing to my colleague).
I suspect these are being held until the rapid entry of US flyers through passport control is being felt at UK airports but only a theory of mine.
Is anyone in the know and able to advise on the status of more codes?

Last time at JFK the Immigration Officer was surprised that a non-citizen could get Global Entry! (I was declaring goods > $100 as I'd no wish to potentially compromise this incredibly useful perk).
Not heard of any more offers recently - I got mine direct by asking back when that was allowed!

Although my amusement of sitting in the lounge waiting for him to battle through is balancing it out.

Afaik its all on hold for us johnny foreigners after that first load of codes, mainly due to at the time supposedly an agreement being round the corner, but turned into a lack of reciprocal programme for the us folks. That programme is in place now right? So why further delay? Blame the politicians i would imagine.
Ps i got it a couple of years ago by emailing the guy that seemed to be in charge of the programme. Dont do that now as he wont give more out, and oddly enough once it was put on here you could do that it closed down again very soon after....ran out of codes perhaps....or just got fed up of us??!! Im not sure if i can renew when my 5 years comes up, im hoping i wont need another code to do that. If not, well miami my typical entry point runs much better now with the kiosks for visa waiver folks.

Never been questioned either, i just saunter down to customs at mia, they comment on it sometimes but then wave me on. Precheck i find i rarely get given on separate interal aa flights, and for a while those queues were really slow anyway as full of randomly selected people.

It does seem to be a theme with non-US points of entry - I had the same at YYZ, where the CBP Officer didn't actually seem to know what to do with me and asked me if my passport should be stamped!

I haven't seen any reports of BA being provided any additional applications to distribute.
