Congrats in citizenship! I also became a Canadian citizen since covid. Was planning to update my nexus when my baby (dual Citizen) has his nexus interview. But we applied for him May 3, 2021 and still waiting for conditional approval. Seems to all over the place...even non GE members waiting a long time.

Former GE, decided to switch to NEXUS when I needed to renew. As of today, it's been 450 days since I submitted my application and I'm still awaiting conditional approval. US Army veteran, great credit score, no troubles with authorities in either the US or Canade, and never had a single problem travelling with GE. Contacting CBP just gets me form letters. Even own a condo in Blaine so getting to the interview isn't a problem, I even stopped by one day and they couldn't give me any answers. When should I give up on the process? Is anyone else waiting over the 450 day mark?

have you tried calling 877 227 5511? Their greeting says 12-14 months... maybe they'll help since you are past that?

Thanks for the advice, I'll try that tomorrow when it isn't a Federal Holiday. I took a little of my time instead to write a letter to my Senator, let's see if that helps with anything.

so annoying. Guess we all will have to continue waiting. Day 414 for our son's app. Was hoping it would be approved before our flight in Sept. Not looking promising.

Welcome to FT. Thank you for sharing. It is very encouraging to see such short time span from application to receiving your NEXUS card.

Finally got my conditional approval!! Applied in August around this time of the month so it's been 10 months.

There are appointments available in Detroit (in 90 minutes) and at 2 locations in Minnesota (Sunday and Monday). Sadly, I cannot teleport to Detroit from Toronto and Minnesota is a bit far, so I'll have to wait for one to pop up elsewhere.

I am, however, getting the option for a remote interview. But even there I cannot get an available date.

Glad to see some remote interviews finally available! A moot point for me as I have my renewal interview in a couple weeks, but good news nonetheless.

Remote interview is not available for first time applicants. They need to take your picture and finger prints. Even for NEXUS renewals, remote interview is not available yet.

I am a current GE member so photos and fingerprints are on file.
When booking an appointment, I have two options to chose from, one is in-person and the other is remote. If I click on remote a calendar shows up but all dates are greyed out, so I suppose it's unavailable but the functionality does seem to be being built.

I did manage to get an appointment in Detroit in August, so I'll have to wait a month and a half unless something else opens up.

Your post belongs to Global Entry Renewal Information and Processing Timelines thread.

Dates are greyed out because they are taken already. Some FTers do post occasionally when slots are open for remote interview or in person interview at various enrollment center/s.

I do believe my post belongs here. I am not renewing Global Entry. I am a first-time Nexus applicant who happens to already have a GE membership. And you can also clearly see at the top of the screenshot that it's for a NEXUS appointment.
Should the mods agree with you that my post is better suited elsewhere I'm sure they will move it.
