Was finally approved Feb 11th, but there are no interview time slots available in Toronto.... I don’t even have the option to search for dates far in advance.

Login and check every day. I find that miscellaneous cancellations keep opening up more slots on a regular basis.

Applied: 1/29/2019
Conditionally Approved: 2/5/2019
Interview Schedule For: 3/16/2019

There looked to be a lot of interviews available somewhat soon, but I won't be in Buffalo visiting family for another month. Will be interviewing in Ft. Erie to get the iris scan as I do like to connect at YYZ sometimes. I'm ready.

Can you get down to Ft Erie or somewhere closer to the border? There were a ton of times available when I was setting up an interview a week ago (even Saturdays).

No I can't due to work. It has to be at YYZ unfortunately. I've been keeping a close eye on the website for time slots. If not, I'll have to make the trip down sometime in the winter.

Pending Review & waiting for conditional approval.

Then Saw this alrert today :-(

The extended partial government shutdown has resulted in a substantial backlog of CBP's Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) applications and renewals.
Applicants for Global Entry (GE), SENTRI, NEXUS and FAST should expect significant delays in application processing times and limited appointment availability at TTP enrollment centers.
Conditionally approved GE members should seek to complete their GE interviews without an appointment upon arrival from an international flight at any of the 49 airports participating in CBP's Enrollment on Arrival (EoA) program.

2 people in this thread applied after you and got approved already, so don't take too much stock in it...

Have not received the conditional approval letter in the mail yet.
Managed to get an appointment for interview on Feb 6th.
Nexus card arrived on Feb 19th.

CBP seems to be processing new applications faster. I applied for a member of my family last week and got conditional approval today.

Pearson is taking Nexus appointments, I just snagged a cancellation for mid-Mar at Pearson today.

Here's an appointment available tomorrow:

Thanks for the tip!

I had one scheduled for Landsdowne today, but glad that I didn't go. Wasn't urgent for me and didn't make sense spending 7 hours and $60 on gas on a $50 nexus card.

Cancelled that one, kept refreshing and was able to snag one for Pearson for tomorrow.

My birthday was earlier this month.

Does that mean my Nexus will expire in Feb 2025? or Feb 2024?

Your NEXUS will expire in Feb 2025, assuming you will receive your final approval tomorrow, 22 Feb 2019 and your birthday was 21 Feb 2019 or earlier.

I have been advising people to schedule their initial interview the day after their birthday to receive a bonus validity period. This trick does not apply to renewals.

Mark your calendar to renew your NEXUS the day after your 2024 birthday.

I basically just need to watch the website like a hawk to get an appointment at YYZ? I'm having no luck at all.
