Sorry -- looking at the wiki I infer that yours is the 6pm success. Thanks.

Thanks. I will definitely report. But I cannot make it to SFO until the last week of August, when it looks like the hours will be 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. I may just try mid day and see how I do. thanks again, zc

You are welcome. Even with the new hours (not 24/7), SFO is open far longer than most offices. I bet Labor Day weekend is a great time to try as people want to have a good long weekend instead of going in for an interview.

Wouldn't that include interviewers who want to enjoy their holiday weekend?

True. There must be enough people to staff their office hours. As I recall during Memorial weekend, a few people had success during that long weekend. Additionally, we have yet to see a no for SFO walk in.:)

Thought I would mention that there is currently a cancellation open on Aug 8 SFO -- but I think at SFO some may be using scripts to monitor, so won't last long.

But I think there are some who have failed to get a walkin at SFO due to long wait, or the (sometimes enforced?) limit of 6 per day? For example: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trust...l#post26604328

You can believe what you want to believe. I have been monitoring Trusted Travelers threads very closely for the last several months. I have not read anything about walk in at SFO is not possible. Please see wiki.

Some maybe were told to wait, but wait time was uncertain. As long as I am not told by several officers that no walk in is accepted, I will wait and see after asking several officers nicely. How determined are you to be interviewed?

Yes, people are determined to get an interview slot, they will try anything. Some say it is quite addictive.:) Finally getting a close in slot is like winning the lottery.:D

MCI - Yes [30m] (8/9/16 7:30am)

I walked into MCI (Kansas City, MO) this morning. I only live 5-10 minutes away from the airport so I thought I'd give it a try before I went to work at 9. I originally had an appointment for last Saturday morning, but had to cancel shortly before (err...I mean...reschedule at ORD in November because nothing else at MCI or anywhere closer was available and I didn't want to risk my entire application being canceled).

I got to MCI at 7:30 AM and asked about walkins. One officer told me that they don't accept walkins but that I'm welcome to wait anyway and see if they have time for me. While I was waiting, I noticed they called a few names that nobody answered for (I guess they missed their appointments?).

At 8:00 another officer came out, noticed nobody but me was waiting, and told me to go ahead and come back. 10 minutes later I was done and out the door. He told me I should go buy a lottery ticket since walkins almost never happen and I got really lucky. As others have said about other locations, the officers here were really friendly. Glad I got it taken care of!

edit: I'm a new member and can't edit the Wiki. If someone wants to add MCI to the list, go for it!

Welcome to FT. Did you buy a lottery ticket?:) A lot of time has to do with timing and how you ask. Do not take no as an acceptable answer unless three officers give you the same answer.

Thanks! It's something I rarely do, but I just may go get one on my lunch break today, haha.
And I feel like the fact that a bunch of people apparently didn't go to their appointments this morning probably helped a lot.

Not an airport but the Washington DC downtown office location takes walk-ins.

Ronald Reagan Building 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW

For those of you who cannot wait 2-3 months for Dulles or BWI this is a good option. Went Saturday noon 8/13.
