My wife and I also applied on the 29th of June. She, a naturalized citizen, received her conditional approval on July 3. I am still waiting. I expect mine to take close to 4 weeks based on reports here. You either get it in a few days or your wait.

My husband and I both applied on June 16, 2018. He got his conditional approval on June 19, 2018 and got his final approval 20 minutes after the interview. We were still in the airport. I’m still waiting for conditional approval. I wish I knew why it was taking so long - it’s been almost a month.

I applied on June 16th and paid the same day. Its now been almost a month and the application shows still pending. We leave on 7/24 so I'm really hoping I get it before then. Hopefully, some of the good luck the rest of you have, will rub off.

Update: 6 weeks after applying and still "Pending Review"... Annoying that there is no way to contact CBP to inquire about what is holding this up.

Can someone explain to me why some applications get approved in about a week and some drag on forever? I applied on June 30, 2018 and still waiting while others have already been approved after applying after me. This system makes ZERO sense.

Slightly OT but ..My sister is a dual citizen US and another country. She is applying for the first time. Filkked out the application online July 12..she is in the US until late August so hoping she can complete the proffess while invvthe us. Is the app process longer first time around ? I'm 3 years into a renewal so I can't speak to today's app process
