Adding a little fuel to the fire, reading back it feels like we have two distinct groupings of potential attendees, Europe, and SE Asia….. and from the poll the majority of potential attendees are dependent on location.
2 DOs? Back to back?

Is it 'just' a Do... or might you host some sort of travel writing workshop with, I dunno, eightblack and Michael Palin?
A pity Anthony Bourdain is no longer with us. Perhaps he might have been interested too!
In any case, for the purposes of a trip report, at least one slightly more obscure place would be of benefit in either Asia or EU.

It has been quiet in this thread, so I suggest something to liven things up. How about organising The Trip Report DO in Bangkok next year?
I have already found two volunteers willing to help (more volunteers are always welcome).
I'd love to hear your suggestions (either by replying to this post or you can message me directly):
1. The Date(s) for the DO
2. Activities (ideally related to flying
)

November ‘25 is a long way away, and so is BKK for a lot of FT members, so I’ll throw an additional idea into the pot (additional, not alternative, who says there should only be one DO
)
Any interest in Sinsheim and/or Speyer in, maybe, June so that the weather is hopefully decent for both outdoor exhibits and beer gardens?
