Not true unfortunately. Worst-hit district of Purworejo is less
than 10 miles from Borobudur, very close
Some of my pictures were taken there.

Interesting to hear that you much preferred Chedi club over Mandapa. Given the price difference, Chedi club looks like a steal!

Chedi offers better service and better food, but Mandapa has
a much nicer landscape. It's also brand new.
