Yay another great trip report DanielW!
I'm becoming addicted to your trip reports! |
The pictures are (literally) breathtaking and the writing is excellent. A great combination for a perfect trip report.
Thanks for sharing. |
I'll pile on and add my meager offering of thanks for an incredible TR.
I've been fortunate over the years to see and do some remarkable things, but I don't know that I've ever traveled someplace so life-affecting as this journey has taken you. Thanks again for sharing. Greg |

Thank you very much for your excellent TR!
Back in the day I did quite a bit of hiking and backpacking in the Sierra Nevada mountains when I lived out on the central coast of California. However, to be able to view Mt. Everest on a trek in Nepal is one of my dreams and I hope to be able to do this some day...... |
Outstanding TR - hoping to follow in your footsteps soon! ^
May I ask what you shoot with? |
I was thinking of your trip report which i had read before the horrible event that killed so many people.
Was that where you were? |
Superb report. Many thanks for posting it.

Daniel W great TR.
Been wanting to land at Lukla. Also go up to Base Camp One. How did you prepare for trekking in altitudes ? Thanks |

Looking forward to your TR to Himalayas. What route are you taking ? As in going to Khatmandu directly or from India / China ? Presently in India, will write an unusual TR after X Mas. |
THANK YOU for sharing this amazing report. Love your picture and I saved some of them to use as a screensaver.

I still had a few hours before my flight back home, so went for one last walk through Kathmandu.

Thanks for the amazing photo selection. This is definitely one I'll be sharing with Ms Spymon.

Thank for an excellent trip report. What time of the year was this? I am hoping to make a similar journey soon and read that November through February are the best for clear conditions. Also, which tour company did you use?

You, Sir, have just increased my bucket list by one. Brilliant TR and gifted photography.
|
AMAZING pics!!! Love this TR and your adventure, can't wait to experience it myself.
