question about flight class...

i don't fly much and i have booked at ticket to london on thai airways...
anyway in my itinerary it says
'class- promotion'
and on the online one it says
'class of service- promotion (W)'

what does that mean? i payed for economy so is there any chance i will get promoted to like premium economy or something... or is that normal?
i dont think my flight was part of a promotion or anything, like not a special deal... i am pretty sure it was like the last seat available though.
anyway just wondering.

also i have tried viewing my booking online, and the only website it seems to work is view trip... it doesnt work on the thai website when i go to 'view booking'... and i want to choose my seat, i dont have one on my itinerary how do you select one??
thanks

Welcome to Flyertalk.

You won't be in the First Class cabin.

Bon Voyage.

Wlecome to Flyer Talk.

It most likely means the economy fare you paid was a special low promotional fare. You wouldn't necessarily know that if you just bought the lowest fare available. There is virtually no chance that it means you will be "promoted" or upgraded into a higher class of service cabin.

Enjoy your trip.
