Mitigate dry air effect in flight

The dry air in long (5-10+ hours) flight makes me uncomfortable. My nose gets annoyed and I'd might sneeze a few times because of it. Is anyone here having problems with the dry air as well? What do you do about it?

Sometimes when I get served tea or coffee on the flight I put the cup close to my nose to get humidity from the steaming cup in my nose, but that is a very short term solution.

Ocean is one brand name, but CVS and Walgreens has their brand.
I also bring some liquid tears along
I see you are in SA, do you have a Boots in the country you are in?

I don't remember having seen any Boots stores. But actually I'm traveling now and not in SA. I'll find a nose spray somewhere else. I'm going to be in Australia soon, maybe I'll find something there.

face mask (often used in Asian countries) and a small spray bottle filled with water (given in some amenity package) which I spray around my face/seat area which really helps humidify the air . There are also spray cans of Evian available to buy (but make sure you buy one that is less than 100 ml) but it is expensive and non refillable - while the small plastic bottle you can just refill as needed on the plane with bottled water

I agree with the painter's mask. I frequently use one while I sleep on Trans-Pacific flight. While it makes you look like an idiot, there is a difference in how raw the inside of your nose and throat get.
