So I just got approved for the BOFA Accolades Credit Card and signed up with the free Priority Pass Membership. I know that priority pass does not allow access to all lounges at all airports but I am still amazed at how many locations offer this service.

I see the United Airlines Red Carpet Lounge in the international terminal accepts the Priority Pass so I was wondering can one go to the UA Domestic lounge as well? If I show the card on a Wednesday afternoon do you think the agent would let me in? If not this is no big deal since I could hike it over to Terminal 1 to access Continental Presidents Club airside.

Also Alaska Airlines on their website says that one can access their lounge even when they are not traveling as they have an agreement with TSA. If I phoned the SFO lounge and said I was a Priority Pass member could I gain access since the Priority Pass website says I get the same benefit a lounge member.

Any other information that might be of help to me? I will now have a place to relax and I am looking forward to trying the Delta lounge at LAX on their PGA putting green. Now I don't have to buy my Starbucks coffee anymore and I have a place to share drinks with my traveling partners.

I think its a cool feature being able to shower and relax away from the stress of the airline terminals.

I too have "free" Priority Pass membership, through a charge card. I have often made use of it, and in some cases the lounges that it gives access to are in fact better than the lounge of the airline I am travelling on.

Sometimes, though, there is no lounge, even in quite big airports, and sometimes the lounge is in another part of the airport and so is inaccessible (for practical purposes). But that's just the luck of the draw, I guess.

I don't think that they programme covers non-international lounges, but I don't know that for a fact.

I have the same product from BofA. I bagged my UA RCC and AS BR memberships late last year. I am also SFO-based, but not flying all that much this year. I've made quite good use of the PP membership. The only weak points for me so far as been:
(1) T-3 @ SFO. However, there have only been 2 trips where I've been over there. Once when I arrived quite early, after dropping my luggage off @ UA, I took a quick walk to the CO lounge in T-1 (landside, not airside as you had mentioned) and used that one.
(2) Guest fees. I don't need to incur them very often, but they can add up rapidly.

If you fly AS out of SFO, it is very good because you get BR access as well as NW lounge access in the int'l terminal. Otherwise, the AS int'l flights have no lounge access.

Agreed on the guest fees! I'm in my 5th year of membership, buying the 10-visit plan, and a few times when I was with my husband and had gone through 10 visits, we decided it was not worth $50 to pay for the 2 of us for whatever short time we were going to be there. (Fee has now gone up to $28 per person.)

Do a Search on PriorityPass- there are plenty of discussions on it- but I've been a very happy customer.
