A friend pointed me to this FlightAware track. This is one pilot I'd like to meet and buy a beer for!

Me thinks the pilot was put up to it by some clever Cessna marketing folks.

Must have been somewhat hard to maintain the shape perfectly. I bet he chose those right-angle IL and IN borders on purpose to help make sure he got the wings right. Note that Chicago is right in the middle - I wonder what the ATC thought?

That's what I noticed too. I also found out that that plane's ceiling is 47k!

Yea, but it take a real man to make it in 4 hours with millions of dollars worth of jet aircraft, thousands of dollars worth of jet fuel and a sophisticated air traffic control network.
