Check out this flight path...

A friend pointed me to this FlightAware track. This is one pilot I'd like to meet and buy a beer for!

Couldn't agree more! ^ It seems like an April Fools joke a day late, I don't think it is though.

Me thinks the pilot was put up to it by some clever Cessna marketing folks.

Thats great, I wonder if it was a marketing scheme or something he did on his own.

Must have been somewhat hard to maintain the shape perfectly. I bet he chose those right-angle IL and IN borders on purpose to help make sure he got the wings right. Note that Chicago is right in the middle - I wonder what the ATC thought?

Phfffttt ~ plug the numbers into the NAV/GPS - fire-up & fly.

That's what I noticed too. I also found out that that plane's ceiling is 47k!

Gotta be marketing...that's a lot of fuel to burn just for kicks.

Most of us here could make something like that on Photoshop in under 5 minutes.

Yea, but it take a real man to make it in 4 hours with millions of dollars worth of jet aircraft, thousands of dollars worth of jet fuel and a sophisticated air traffic control network.

This is a sweet routing!

Thanks pedxing for posting this!

More likely they had to do a 4-hour test flight anyway, so they decided to have some fun with it.
