Is anyone aware of any airlines that offer discounts to passengers that travel to the same destination/return cities every single weekend? In other words, I live in Charlotte and work in Orlando, but am not interested in moving for various reasons. I imagine there has to be a special program for someone that would commit to flying to/from the same cities nearly 52 weeks a year. Has anyone heard of such a thing? Should I call a few air lines, maybe a travel agent or two?

If only airlines had some sort of loyalty reward program for road warriors who devote their travel to a single airline on a highly frequent basis...

I recall that several firms with which I did business had agreements with airlines based on high utilization. At one time WN had a number of such agreements. TAs are certainly going to be of no help, and I suspect that response from the airlines would have to come through corporate/group sales offices.

If still available, such a "plan" would certainly have a "quid pro quo" involved, in which you would have to guarantee to travel a certain route or routes at a contracted frequency level to qualify for discounted fares.

Air Canada has a "Flight Pass". You can pre-pay for a finite number of flights with no time limit, or unlimited flight within a time limit. It is innovative, and no other airline offers it.

You've certainly come to the right place. What NERD is saying with his tounge firmly in his cheek, is that this entire board is devoted to Frequent Flyers, all of whom are trying to wring as much out of the system as they can.

So, unless you can get your company corporate travel department to work a deal for you, just sit back, use the same airline all the time and let the bennies start to flow. Before you know it you'll be super premium ultra elite and, like the rest of us, will be complaining about the "gate lice" and about being stuck in "cattle class".

I suggest that you start to read the posts on the board for your airline of choice - look under "miles & points" - and you'll soon learn the ropes.

There's not usually anything you'll wring from the airlines to achieve any discount on "bulk" flying to/from the same place, except for the eventual benefits that accrue from earning miles (I suppose if you cash in miles for an award ticket, you've reduced the overall per-flight price of the flights you take.). You should investigate whether a weekend round-trip to Charlotte is less expensive than a weekday round-trip to Orlando, though (benefit IME is not usually that great). Booking way in advance also helps, of course (depends on who's floating the cost of those way-in-advance bookings and how they're billed back).
