The Happiness Project
Greetings FT,
I was reading one of my favorite blogs today, The Happiness Project, when I came upon these lines in a discussion of how NOT to be happy:
Just a little food for thought as you embark on your next trip or compose your next post. Thanks!

If you don't want to be happy, what qualities might you cultivate? Consider these:
-- Hone your powers of discernment so that practically nothing can meet your standards, and be sure to tell everyone else how the food, performance, or service fell short.
...
-- When someone bugs you -- whether it's a stranger talking loudly on a cell phone or a relative repeating the same maddeningly stupid jokes year after year -- tell as many people about it as possible. You may even need to see a therapist twice a week to talk about your grievances sufficiently.

Wow, I honestly can't adequately express how relevant this is to the UA forum as of late (not being sarcastic). I have absolutely no problems with reasonable complaints, but lately there have just been a surge in the number of completely negative posts, IMO. Something which I really think just sucks is when there is a positive thread with a nice tone, and a few people on the board typically come around and point out something negative which has absolutely nothing to do with the thread. For example, talking about new UA C seats, and having half of the posts be "Well, UA still sucks."
OK, rant over...
