So 2 months later CSA have agreed to refund the return fare of the business ticket. Problem is Expedia have to refund it. Not sure how long this will take!!

I'm really shocked that Expedia sent you a letter saying they were an agent for the AIRLINE. I thought they were a travel agent for their customers? Or do I have that wrong?

When you book a flight on Expedia, you pay them a fee for that service above and beyond the ticket price. That alone (IMO, but IANAL) means they have to answer to you.
