Tumi Signature 22"
Does anybody here own this bag and if so, ever have any problems carrying it on? I am thinking about ordering one but I am concerned that the 47.25 linear inches (14.75x22x10.5) might end up biting me in the rear end since the limit is officially 45".
I definately don't want to drop 500 bucks for something that is slung into the luggage hold. I rarely (maybe once every couple years) fly regional jets or turbo props so I am mainly concerned with M-80's, 738's and smaller binned 757's. I know it will be fine in a 767 and 777.
Personal experience with this suitcase would be greatly appreciated.
