Standby, what a great idea

Last summer I wrote a review for tripadvisor of a restaurant where I had a wonderful experience, Bradley Ogden's at Caesar's Palace, where the chef made up a special tasting menu for our party. I wish I had thought to send a copy to the management, so that the staff could be properly thanked. I didn't even think of it and it would be so easy to do!

I rarely send complaints unless I really feel short-changed.

I've only complained twice and it was because in both cases, the airline knew of a maintenance problem and still dropped the ball when handling existing check-ins. Both times, they've taken good care of me.

I've written at least twice as many complimentary letters - normally with regards to the flight crew in what I consider challenging flying conditions.
