Is it me?
Is it me or do cheap tickets attract rude people who act like cattle? Was on a flight from ACY to FLL yesterday on Spirit. Scored the fare at under $50.00 so wife and I were able to shoot down to our place in Miami for a long weekend. Pax behind me changed diapers in the seat, people in front of me kept rocking back in forth in their seats.Aforementioned baby changers kept kicking my seat. Lady across the aisle was having a 3 course meal(brought from home).Kids were crying, dogs yapping, people tried to rush the exit only to cause a massive backup in the aisle and the accompanying falling luggage from the bins. Wife yelled at me for not getting Spirit Plus, and she was right-for once

It sounds like a trite cliche, but - you get what you pay for. That is what is kind of funny about all the moaning about degradation of service in the airline business (funny sad, not funny hah-hah.) The pee-pul have demanded cheap fares, so the pee-pul are getting them, along with cheap service to match. <sigh>

The cheap ticket had nothing to do with why my wife and I were flying that day. I meant, for us, I was happy to get it so cheap. We fly 2-3 times a month, ACY is close to my house and any savings always helps. And anyway, I'm the type of flyer that doesn't recline the seat so the pax behind me doesn't have my seat in his/her knees. But please, lets debate that again, LOL.Maybe there were a lot of first timers onboard, but there is no reason not to be being courteous and polite.

Cheap tickets attract people who are novice flyers. They haven't caught the etiquette of flying yet. Unfortunately, most will remain novice flyers and will never get it.

Kicking seats, rushing the exits...you never experience this in FC? Yapping dogs and rowdy kids..been there done that in biz and first. Aside from the baby changing, I see nothing in your post that I don't experience regularly in all classes of service and on all airlines.
