do i have enough time?
This summer, in jUne, i am planning my family trip to Asia.
Jfk-Tokyo
Tokyo-Beijing
Beijing-Shanghai
Shanghai-Hong Kong
Hong KOng-JFk with a night stopover in tokyo
If i told you thta i had apprx. 2 weeks to spend, how would you divide it up? Consider that you lose a day going there.
Assuming i leave jfk on the 1st, this is what i was thinkking.
June 1 leave ny
june 2 arrive tokyo
june 3-5 tokyo fun!
june 6 leave tokyo, arrive beijing
june 7-8 beijing fun!
june 9 leave beijing, arrive shanghai
june 10-11 shanghai grand hyatt fun!
june 12 leave shanghai arrive hong kong
june 13-14 hong kong kowloon fun!
june 15 leave hong kong, arrive tokyo
june 16 leave for jfk
i feel like i wont have time to see much. what do you think? thanks so much for eveyrones imput.

The main thing you're going to see will be airplane cabins. I would drop Shanghai and have a week in Japan, five days in Beijing, and five days in HK.

That looks pretty doable. I would not omit Tokyo if you've never been before; it's something to see. If you have more than a few days it would be nice to take a train out into the countryside and see more of Japan; I've always wanted to do that but never had the time.
