I'd be carefull following that link, especially using IE. It's a page in russian that's probably designed to install malware.... Looks like a bot post to me.

I tried and simply couldn't pull out the drawers from rooms at Hyatt SFO and Hyatt San Jose. Some of the drawers are even glued shut! This is driving me crazy.

On the otherhand, I just found a pack of cigarettes and a lighter under the mattress. Gross...

Well, I feel cheated. I'm in a casino hotel right now, and not so much as a Victoria's Secret catalog. I should have brought something.

Very intersting thread. I'll be checking from now on when I stay at a hotel.

I once found expired herpes medication at the Pfister in Milwaukee. I hope he wasn't doing anything in the room... eww

here's a thought.... the back of the drawers in hotels may end up like the penny jar at 7-Eleven. You take a few when in need and leave a few sometimes....

Once I forgot to bring the cable lock for my laptop... I pulled out one of those drawers and decided to hid the laptop underneath.(while I went out during the day) Can you image what would have happend if I forgot to take it upon check-out?

I think disposable gloves should be worn when carrying out drawer searches in hotel rooms!

Welcome to the club, then! I ALWAYS travel w/y own pillow, in part because I'm deathly allergic to feathers & down & you can't always count on the hotels being able to provide foam/latex (especially ones that aren't beaten down, lumpy, & stinky). It also goes in my suitcase last, so it's on top & provides extra cushion when the ticket agent, TSA person (sorry, I refuse to call them 'Officers'!), or baggage handler throws the bag on the belt(s) face down.

Did they comp the room for you? Of course, they might not, thinking it was yours to begin with.

The December issue of Playboy has an interview with Pierce Brosnan in it. He's pretty pissed-off about losing the 007 role.

I got some strange looks when I went into B&N to purchase it. I hadn't see a copy in decades. Seems like the format is the same as it was in the 60's and it continues to have good articles. I heard for a while the magazine had degenerated into "porn" a la Hustler and Screw. Is that true?
