I love the show too, my favorite as far as travel shows are. And i like Justine better than the rest, i like her sense of humor. I like the fact they go to out of the way places, we all know about London and Paris, but it's the other shows that are much more interesting to me.
Steves always has these friends that show him around(probably for a cost), which I would never have. He's always saying things like "See Hans at the Brat haus, he'll set you up real nice'....when who really is going to walk into that place and say "Is Hans here? Rick said you'd set me up'. Globetrekker is more my style. Sometimes they find these deals so easily though, makes you wonder. They have had a lot of reruns lately, but here's the schedule....

I recently discovered this great program. This is far and away he best travel series I've ever seen. The only other series that I enjoy is No Reservations.
I think it would be an absolute blast to travel with Ian and Megan. Talk about enjoying travel and life!

I am a huge fan of this show. It shows up in Canada on OLN under the title Pilot Guides (every night at 10pm). I downloaded the mp3 for the theme music onto my laptop, and whenever I am in a new city, I will play the theme songs a couple of times before going out to explore just to get myself psyched up. (The song is available free of charge from the website).
It was a big deciding factor in my decision to try and climb Mt. Kilimanjaro (along with the plaque at the top of Mt. Diablo outside of San Francisco). Ian Wright climbed Kilimanjaro in the Tanzania episode. It also piqued my interest in Mongolia and the trans-Siberian train.

I love Globe Trekker. So much in fact, that I purchased a few episodes on DVD off Amazon.com. I was taking a friend to Turkey and wanted her to get an idea of what it was like so I purchased the 2 Turkey episodes on DVD.
They're great and you can get almost any of the shows.
