A380 Moniker

The SQ forum is debating on what SQ will name the A380. They currently call the 744's "Megatop" which has always sounded like a circus attraction to me.

Harley has "Fatboy" taken, so my suggestion is "Blotus Blossom Express".

Any other suggestions out there?

How about AirBoat?

And if it doesn't sell, it'll be an AirBust.

Airbus describes it well, like travelling on a long journey on a hot, over crowded bus.

There's always the obvious analogy - double-decker.

Good thought on "Double Decker", maybe Virgin will paint their planes all red and use that one.

Canyonero!

The song lyrics can be easily adapted. I'll get the creative minds started:

Can you name the plane with four long aisles,
smells like a deli plate and has seats for miles..

Canyonero! Canyonero!

Well, it goes real slow with the hammer down,
It's the country-fried plane endorsed by a clown!

Canyonero! (Yah!) Canyonero!
[Krusty:] Hey Hey

The Federal Aviation Administraton has ruled the
Canyonero unsafe for flying.

Canyonero!

120 yards long, 10 lanes wide,
hundreds of tons of European Pride!

Canyonero! Canyonero!

Top of the line in people hauling sports,
Unexplained fires are a matter for the courts!

Canyonero! Canyonero! (Yah!)

She blinds everybody with her super high beams,
She's a squirrel crushing, bird smacking, flying machine!

Canyonero!-oh woah, Canyonero! (Yah!)

Fly Canyonero!

Woah Canyonero!

Woah!
