A380 Moniker
 

The SQ forum is debating on what SQ will name the A380. They currently call the 744's "Megatop" which has always sounded like a circus attraction to me.

Harley has "Fatboy" taken, so my suggestion is "Blotus Blossom Express".

Any other suggestions out there?

How about AirBoat?

And if it doesn't sell, it'll be an AirBust.

Airbus describes it well, like travelling on a long journey on a hot, over crowded bus.

There's always the obvious analogy - double-decker.

Good thought on "Double Decker", maybe Virgin will paint their planes all red and use that one.

The 380 looks like a big ole Tuna, So you could call it the Flying Albacore or, Double Ahi.....

i hope im not the only one who got this 'simpsons' reference.

and lets all be concerned if the captain has a lipstick dispenser ;)
