It's pretty much the same across all airlines, no Nunchukas, Japanese throwing stars, Viking Battle Axes, etc. can be used on TO or Landing.
Besides that. I think any sort of a personal electronic device of any sort, basically if it has batteries or uses any form of electricity.

Yes, and thankfully my Nunchukas don't have an On-Off Button either!!!!
In all seriousness though, these rules do vary from Airline to Airline, & country to country. If you have serious questions, why not contact the airline's TF # directly...

Laptop computers are not to be valet checked at any time. Customers are permitted to carry-on their laptops. If space is limited within the cabin to accommodate the laptop, the Flight Attendant will find a suitable storage location.........NOTE: A seatback pocket is not an approved storage location.

Laptop? Seat pocket? Wouldn't that break the seat pocket?
At any rate, I always put my laptop under the seat in front of me. That way I can see it at all times and I am sure that no clod has put their wheelie bag on top of it.
