Question LAX parking

I recall alot of threads on the topic in the old FT but everything seems to be lost in transition.
I would appreciate suggestions for convenient and inexpensive (coupons?) LAX parking. I will make occasional weekend trips from there mostly on UA.
Thanx.

ParkOne is very convienent and easy to walk to UA terminal. They have Valet and Self Park. ParkOne is right next to the airport, so you don't have to wait for the shuttle if you don't want to. It is right next to Terminal 1 (WN,HP). They seem to keep mailing me coupons. I bet you can get on thier mailing list by calling them.

I have also had good luck with WallyPark. They offer AAA discounts.

There is a parallel thread going on in the LAX Airport thread - perhaps it's better discussed there.

105 Airport Parking

I like 105 Airport Parking it is located just south of LAX. They have a shuttle that runs you to the airport and I run off coupons off their website.

Ouch! Used them once and they put a HUGE dent in the passenger side of the car. Of course, I didn't do a walk around of the car and didn't notice this until I got home. They took NO responsibility as I didn't say anything when I picked it up. I think it is pretty poor business to not have the decency to notify someone that their car was damaged while in their valet care. Also, after repeated phone calls I never received the courtesy of a return phone call from John himself--in fact, NO ONE returned any calls the only time I talked to anyone directly was when I called them. They have no regard for customers or customer service; if this had been handled appropriately I could understand their position about me driving off but it was not handled at all.

If you value your car at all do NOT use Johhny Park.

Anyone know the best Park,Sleep and Fly hotel??
We have used travelodge but the parking wasn't at the hotel itself.

The Parking Spot

I love the Parking Spot. They have two locations at LAX (one on Sepulveda, next to In 'n Out Burger; the other on Century, near the LAX Hilton, I believe). Fast, efficient service + free bottle of water upon arrival & return. I tried their valet service for the first time last week, and my car was waiting for me when the van pulled up. Plus they offer car washes & detailing - although I think they're kinda pricey for these services). I have a couple of extra "valet parking at the rooftop rate" (which is $9.95/day + tax). If you're interested, shoot me an e-mail.

I usually park at the Westin because it is all indoor parking. The only problem is that Alaska now has a contract for their employees to use it and at times it can be difficult to find a space. It is normally $10/day but if you are there 3 days it goes down to $9 tax included. Be sure and get a receipt since I think some of the cashiers are embezzling money since they don't ring up the sale and want cash.

$6/day at LAX

This is the best deal I've found at $6/day by using coupon. It's about 1/2 mile to LAX but the negative is you have to leave your keys with the attendant.

I also like the Parking Spot (Sepulveda) - I use the valet as well. I had my car detailed there twice, and, although it was a bit pricey (but not overly, so) I was very happy with the quality of their work.

I agree. My car was damaged and my cds were stolen by Johnny Park valets. I saved $6 by parking there but it cost me hundreds in the end.

Park somewhere else! I've never had a problem in the tens of times I've used the LAX B lot.

Lot B is really a hassle if you have alot of luggage. The shuttle buses don't run often enough, and they pack them to the gills before closing the door. Consequently, there's a better-than-good chance that you'll get stuck standing in the aisle for the commute to the terminals or back to your car. It's worth the extra few dollars a day IMHO to park in a lot where the shuttle driver will assist you with your luggage, and you can at least sit down for the duration of the ride.
