Does Vatican City count as a country? I'm at either 57 or 58 depending.

Vatican's a country. On the TCC, remember that it's basically a social club.

After Macau yesterday, now at 96 "countries" on the TCC's list.

I know lots of members here have been to many more than 100 countries, but is anyone actually a TCC member? In general it seems to be a more expensive way than old people's homes to hang around American Octogenarians, but the London branch seems quite interesting.

I consider that I've been to 81 "real" countries - In my case that's 79 UN members plus the Vatican (technically an Observer as the Holy See) and Taiwan.

NB: Although I'm not Asian, this should be a very lucky moment in my life. This is my post 888 on Flyertalk and I'm waiting for my (First Class) CX888 flight.

So 10; 11 if we count Macau. 11 or 12 if the US counts, but I've always just lived here never visited
Added:
Philippines
Malaysia
Cambodia

13 (excluding the US and counting both SARs together*) or 15 including the two SARs separately and the US. A pretty low number by the standards of this thread.

(* and the mainland, if I get there)

LOL.. love the analogy.

So are all TCC members...well... old?

I'm 32, so I hope by 80, I'll be at like 200 countries

You don't have to be old, but it apparently helps

I remember reading a story somewhere about the youngest member being about 2 and a half, but in general I doubt there are that many under 35 members. Probably more eligible under 35 potential members here on FT than in the Club.

I know one member who completed the entire list in his thirties. After hitting 100, he took three years to finish the list.

I've been to 43 of the UN countries + Vatican, so that makes 44. Haven't counted, but probably 50-60 "countries".

My goal is to visit all the countries in the world and since I'm only 21 I think I'm doing ok so far!
