also two unrecognized ''rogue'' independent states:
Bophutswana (now recorporated back into South Africa)
Transnistria (still defying Moldova thanks to the Russian ''peacekeepers'')
so - total 73
Also, on the agenda in a few weeks: Cyprus (which should count as two, considering the Turkish and Greek sides have seperate governments that barely speak to each other, and the worlds only remaining divided capital seperated by miltary emplacements; it makes absolutely no sense to say Korea is two countries but Cyprus is one,)
Next year - Kosovo, Georgia, Guernsey, and perhaps Belarus.
If I used the TCC list, it would be over 80.

Add Brazil and Greenland and you'd add 20% of red.

I've only been to 21 countries and I'm 23. But its pretty funny how low on the totem poll I am here. Where, in real life, I literally don't know my age who's even been close to the amount of places I've been.
I guess it's because I live in a very rural area compared to most, but it's interesting to think about. Hopefully I'll catch up sometime soon.

Once location obviously matters. In Europe it is easier to go abroad the when in the US.
