While my fairly modest updated list of 32 countries (up from 28 ) places me firmly in the middle back quarter of the FT pack, but I am pleased with being one of the first 10 posters on a FT thread that stretches over 26 pages and over three years. ^^

And I am poster #9! Hmmmm..... maybe I should also update my list of countries in that post, rather than only in subsequent posts.... @:-)

One easy way to do it is to search on your own handle at the forum level (thread-level searches don't seem to work), and click on "Show results as posts" (rather than using the default of "show results as threads").

If necessary, you can also restrict the date range to make it easier to find your post(s), if the forum happens to be one you've posted to a lot, and you don't want to look for the proverbial needle in a haystack.

Better late than never!

But taken out of context, your (and my) comment about peeing in each country sounds pretty strange!

USA (born/live) + Guam
Canada
Mexico

Japan
Malaysia
Thailand
Indonesia (Bali, Borneo, Java)
(Had a layover in Taiwan, does that count? lol )

Australia

England
France
Germany
Spain + Canary Islands
The Netherlands

Only 13 so far. Not too impressive when you can barely beat a 16 year old kid

(In my own feeble defense, I don't do any business travel, so ... )

EDIT: I'd be interested to know if the people that are posting huge country lists are people that went to a lot of these destinations on business? Although I admit that Europeans have the advantage here (easier to get to different countries in less time), I look at some of these people's lists and I think they either gotta be International Business travelers or else they were formerly dirty wandering napsack-carrying Hippies

Neither. My business travel has always been exclusively in the US, with the sole exception of a couple of business trips to China back in 1997. However, I've ALSO been to China on leisure trips a few times as well, so it would be on my list regardless.

And my foreign travel has mostly been during my middle-aged years, rather than my (younger) hippie years! More than ten years ago, I arranged my life so that I could take long trips (sometimes as long as three or four months) and do the kind of travel I had always wanted to do. However, I usually didn't earn many airline miles doing that! (Most years I earned bottom-level elite on UA; once I made midtier.) Under the evil influence of FlyerTalk ( ), I now take much shorter, more frequent trips and have been a 1K for the last couple of years.

Of course, my list of 37 countries pales in comparison to a lot of those posted on this thread! In my defense, I point out that I have actually spent significant amounts of TIME in many of the countries I have visited. I added up the amount of time spent in Europe on all my travels, and it comes close to two years' worth. Even for a middle-aged person, two years of one's life is a significant chunk of change! (I ought to try to add up ALL the time I've spent travelling abroad and see how many total years of my life I've spent at it! Could easily be four years, maybe even more.)
