Programs: Nothing much anymore. Used to be annual 1K but ditched the work travel life. Still 1MM on UA.

Downtown Seattle restaurant advice
My wife and I will be in Seattle this upcoming weekend, which happens to be our anniversary as well. It has been several years since I've spent any considerable time there and would like to know if anybody has any good restaurant advice for a nice dinner on a Sunday night.
I'm open to anything, but my wife is of the more meat and potatoes variety, unless its Italian cuisine.
We will be staying downtown and will not be renting a car, so anything around that area would be preferred.

The locals may have other suggestions, but I really like the Dahlia Lounge.

Two good French places near the Pike Market - Le Pichet (as close to a real French bistro as you're likely to see) and Campagne, a great place with great food.
Two seafood places, tried but true - Elliott's Oyster House, right in the middle of tourist hell on the central waterfront, but great despite the location, and Anthony's Pier 66 places, $$ upstairs, $ down.
Tom Douglas' places - Dahlia, Etta's, Palace - are quite good but IMO awfully noisy and taken with themselves. Our favorite downtown Italian place sadly is closed on Sundays - Assagio. Still, the Pink Door in the Market (off Post Alley - no sign, just a Pink Door) is very romantic and cozy in the winter (fab in summer on their roof deck, but not in Feb.)
Metropolitan Grill and El Gaucho for $$$teaks - bring your banker and a flashlight to El Gaucho.

Chez Shea in Pike Place Market is one of the city's best. And I second the motion on Dahlia Lounge. For meat and potatoes, though, it's hard to beat The Metropolitan.

To please a party of two where one prefers meat and potatoes and the other is more adventurous, it's hard to do better than the Caf Campagne, the informal restaurant run by the people who run Campagne. They specialize in comfort foods such as steak and fries, but prepsred magnificently.
CafCampagne and its fancier brother are a half-block from Pike Place Market, in The Inn at the Market hotel (which is one of the best place to stay in Seattle, incidentally).

My all-time favorite in Seattle is the pan-Asian restaurantWILD GINGER. This San Francisco foodie gives it two thumbs way up, but PINK DOOR is also fantastic.

I would have to add my recommendation for Dahlia Lounge. While my wife and I have only eaten there once, it was, without a doubt, one of the best meals we have ever had - anywhere.
