My understanding is that only Asian Worldperks gold/plat members get KLM lounge access. The others must either have a Worldclub membership or be flying WBC. This may have changed in the past year, however.
KL longhauls from BKK, SIN, BOM, and KUL arrive in AMS around 6AM, among others. Many passengers, few showers...

It is KL from DEL and NW from BOM that arrive at that hour.

The policy for NW elites to get a shower (in the Crown lounge) in AMS:
- you must be plat (and be carrying your card)
- you must have a WC membership (and be carrying your card)
- you must be flying in WBC
You have to have all three of these things or off you go to the commoners lounge. Note that this may have changed with all the lounge shuffling. I never could figure out exactly what the situation was since then.

There is no longer a "commoners' lounge". All KLM lounges are equal. But only one of them has showers (the old Royal Wing lounge near E pier), and you need to have a Platinum card to get a key to the showers.</font>
