What if the VP is going to Asia and beyond? or someplace beyond the range of this modified 757-200?

The 757-200 version for the VP has quite a bit of extended range. Not sure what they'd do for VP Cheney if he was headed to Australia but I'm pretty sure the VP's 757 could do Asia with one fuel stop.

As for going to Asia and "beyond"... Yikes!

Range is 5500nm. Asia is accessible with a brief stop in Hawaii. Or LA & then Guam.

While these planes do make fuel stops at times, they are also equipped with inflight fueling equipment which negates the need to stop if they choose.
