NRT Terminal Question
I am arriving in NRT on AA and connecting on a UA flight. I think AA arrives into terminal 1 at NRT and UA departs out of terminal 1 so does this mean I will have a short walk to the UA check-in desk after I arrive on AA?

Can I check in at the RCC or do I need to check in at the normal check in area? I don't have seat assignments on my ticket but have phoned in and reserved a seat through the phone.

I've never checked in at the RCC since all my many NRT flights originated there, but I do recall seeing ticket agents inside the RC club, they're to your right as you enter the massive main room.
Further back they have showers, btw.

Question....I have a friend that will be flying to HKG via NRT on Northwest. He doesn't have elite status with them and wants to take a shower before heading to HKG. Are there shower facilites which he can use (for a fee of course)? Thanks in advance

Arriving on AA you should come in to the pier that has gates 12 - 18. After you clear in-transit security you should follow the signs for gates 31 - 36. Here, just outside the RCC is a farly large UA transfer desk where they can issue your boarding pass. Inside the RCC, to the right after the entrance is a desk with agents who can also check you in. I'd say the walk will take 7 ~ 12 minutes after you clear security.
