The Disney Crowd
Anybody remember the chat site, similar to Flyertalk, that attracts all those "peculiar" people whose greatest thrill in life is their vacations at Disney.
Somebody posted a link to it on the Continental forum a few months ago. The situations you read there are HHYSTERICAL.

Not knocking Disney.
It's the people who fly there, into MCO from all over.
A lot of these people fly once a year and make life at airports and inside the airplanes a living hell for us Road Warriors. They whine about everything in the airplane.
As to some of the comments I've read on disboards.com, let me tell you!!! There are some out there who are not excercising their wonderful gift of a brain.

Nothing against Disney but some of these people seem to spend ALL their free time there. Many posts include a laundry list of references to stays, such as:
Offsite - 88
CBR - 89 & 90
PO - 91
OKW-92,OKW-93,OKW-96, OKW-97 2X'S,OKW-98 2X's
OKW-99 2X'S,OKW-00 2X's OKW-01 2x, OKW-02 2x AKL-02 1x,OKW-03 2X
Jamaica-SandalsInn 98&00
That OKW must be some great place. Don't recognize the code. I'd rather collect countries and NOT by simply walking around a big lake at Epcot.

- Learning as much as possible about a particular industry or vendor.
- Spending an inordinate amount of time communicating with other such persons on a bulletin board dedicated to that topic.
- Being extrememly picky about the service provided by the vendor.
- Engaging in endless speculation as possible upcoming changes and the reasons for recent changes.
- Knowing more about the vendor than many of its employees.
- Having their friends and co-workers think ill of them for having such a strange hobby.
Yea, those Disney fans are an odd bunch indeed! :-)

This is another cool Disney planning site.
I post on www.disboards.com as well. I don't recommend trying to teach these people about airlines. It is an exercise is futility. They book tickets 14 months in advance and freak out if the time changes by an hour. The people who post do have great info though on the hotels and food in the area.
If you are planning a trip to WDW you should consider coming during the Food and Wine Festival with other FlyerTalkers.

(Aviation, Airlines)

(Flyertalk, A.net)

(Nope, I won't take them for the 31" pitch, gimme the 32")
- Engaging in endless speculation as possible upcoming changes and the reasons for recent changes.
(Is Emirates adding Vienna???) huh? huh?
- Knowing more about the vendor than many of its employees.
(A lot of people here can boast that, maybe not me)
- Having their friends and co-workers think ill of them for having such a strange hobby.
(possibly.)

was thinking the same thing!edited to add: I guess what makes me think less about Disney or Vegas is that I believe that people go year after year to the same location. While it is America and if that makes you happy go for it, but there is soooo much more in this world.
