New mechanical trash cans at ATL
Has anyone else seen these in Concourse A at Hartsfield? They are black and say 'TRASH' on the lid. When you drop something in, a motor starts up and a red LED flashes. It sounds like the junk is getting compacted inside.
I haven't seen anyone open one up and empty them yet but people standing around the cans get anxious whenever the motor sounds.
