The 'must have boarding pass' is going to wreak havoc at BWI.

Last I used easy check-in (Monday)it required the credit card used to purchase your ticket so I think it can distinguish quite a bit.
I certainly hope they plan to add more of these machines if they are going to require that everyone have a boarding pass to get through security.

Web check-in will only see increased use.

I don't have a problem with the process change. Ideally, I'd like to see the boarding-pass thing dropped, but this is a step in the right direction.
Eliminating the gate-groping is a very positive thing.
I know there is still a chance that there will be random searches at the x-ray machines, but I think there is a *better* chance of eventually getting consistency there than there was under the gate-check system.
Hopefully the TSA will someday be able to create an effective security system that is based on consistency, and which includes a set of rules travelers can abide by to avoid unnecessary harassment. I look forward to that day because I will then look forward to flying more often, which is something I used to enjoy quite a bit.
