Refund on tickets
Got a call today from Frontier that my intinerary had changed. I'm going from Chicago to Salt Lake, changing in Denver.
There was supposed to be 1 1/2 hour window to change, planes now they say it's only 1/2 hour. I can get a direct flight for less $$$ with Delta. Frontier says I can't get a refund even though the itinerary change is their doing (they are blaming FAA). Is this right? Is it worth pursuing?

If Frontier changes the schedule, you can change your flights without a change fee. You cannot get a refund. If you wanted a non-stop flight, you should have booked with Delta to begin with.

That's not entirely true. What matters is the complete fare rules for whatever you purchased. On most of the major airlines, 90%+ of their fares have wording which allows for a refund of the ticket if the schedule changes or becomes an illegal connection.
Unfortunately, this is only done by the big-boys. Frontier, ATA and so forth don't offer this.
