How to get INSPASS as a foreigner

I was thinking about getting myself into INSPASS. I tried afew years ago but then it was for business trips only and mileageruns did not count. Did that cange? Is there a fee to sign up? How much? How to do itß I go in and out the US about 8 times a year.

Hi there,
Getting an INSPASS is easy. If the "business" requirement is still there just say that's why you're there.

You have to go to an office and fill in a form. You need to show your passport and give a US address where you will be going to. It doesn't seem to matter what address you put down provided it's a valid address. For example, my registered address is actually my boss' parents. Whenever I have spoken to the INSPASS people they have been helpful and even told me not to worry about the address thing.

Now the bad side: Due to a (serious) oversight, when the new terminals at both LAX and SFO were done, they forgot to put in a place for the INSPASS office. Arrgh! Therefore there is now nowhere in SFO to get one done! Apparantly there is now a temporary office in LAX though.
