Some ACTUAL airliners.net gems of wisdom....

"As you may know, Miles achieved by flying United are freely transferrable."

"Look at the guy with his hand in the engine. Does he know what he is doing....? note the dead chicken on the ground. "

"I heard United is awful. I have flown them once for a trip, it was not bad, but should I fly them again? All I hear is bad things about United."

"i think most airlines is safe, so other factors can be more important"

"Whatever. Then you all stupid. "

"It seems NW's 747-200's are really old yet they don't get rid of them. How come they don't buy some more -400's,777's,or A340's to replace them?????"

"Is Americans hub still going to be Chicago or is it just going to be Dallas and St. Louis???"

"Do airline pilots have to know EVERYTHING about flying???? "

And thats just from the past week.....

There are some shockers...usually emanating from one particular poster, who shall remain nameless

I'll let you go on to airliners.net and see who it is

B747-437B's "best-of" list is only a selection, some absolute shockers there.

seriously

Regards,

Clement

The list of stupid things said on airliners.net just never ends.

example: "Please dont use those 3 letter airport codes, please say the full airport name instead."

How about this quote from Airliners.net, "Should the U.S. airline industry be regulated again?"

Folks, let's not lower our standards here by site bashing. I started this post because I wanted to know from where FT's newer members were comming. Some of the responses (in and of themselves) have answered my question!
