I know what you mean. I've yet to see a buff young (or old) man in J either.

Hmm ... you guys must be on the wrong airlines then

I've been flirted with by attractive stewards as well as some pretty sharp looking gentleman. Unfortunately, I've also had the 60-70 yr old crowd hit on me too Must be the dimples. I had one tell me that he could be my sugar daddy if I wanted ..... I literally busted out laughing

Maybe a bit off o/t but I've yet to have anyone sit next to me that I'd want to put up the effort to talk to. Oh, actually I did once on a flight to SYD from LAX, got upgraded to F and a nice young lady sat across the isle from me. Unfortunately she was accompanying Tommy Lee. No, it wasn't Pam Anderson either.

Pam and Tommy aren't back again are they?

And to think I passed on reading the latest issue of People magazine in the sauna yesterday! LOL!

Well, I have a COUPLE of interesting hook up stories, but I'll only do one today.

It was President's Day of this year. I was flying BWI-ORD-SMF back home on the 9 AM flight to get back in around 4 PM. Well, I was staying at the Grand Hyatt, so I went to take the Red Line to Union Station to take MARC up to BWI. There was construction going on the Red Line, which caused me to miss my train and flight. So now I'm on stand-by hell for the day, but I did get on the next BWI-ORD flight no problem. Once in ORD, I went up to the counter for the SMF flight to see what could be done. All of the SMF flights were full for the day and looked like it was likely that I was going to spend the night in Chicago. Well, once the flight pushed back and left, I got up to go to the RCC in the B Terminal. Out of the corner of my eye, a lovely lady got up and walked away from the gate at the same time too. So I go up to her and start to chat with her for a bit, she was on the last flight of the day, but she wanted to get back home a little bit earlier. She was stuck at ORD for the rest of the day. So on the walk between C and B, I offered her to come as my guest at the RCC. She actually accepted my invitation! ^ So I was talking to her for about 5 hours till the last flight of the night, which I happened to get on! So in the end, I got her number and I still talk to her to this day!

I'm surprised this hasn't come up: easier to successfully flirt in first, business or coach?

Probably depends on the 'flirter' and the 'flirtee' no?

I would guess with the FA in first.
And with a pax in coach.

But what do I know?

I've retired from flirting now for several years!

Retired or not, seems to be pretty contemporary.

When I sit in J, I just watch all of the pretty young women walk back usually. Most of the people in the premium seating or J are much older than I am. Plus, psflygirl and flyin'mom fly DL and AA so I'll never see them...

"older" women?

Hmmm.... as I get older, I find such women remarkably attractive!

Yes, I'm sure the professional married mother of 3 children sitting next to me would appreciate a, "how you doin'".

Well, how would we know?

IMHO, quite a few might!

And not all 'older' women are married, right?
