Disney’s latest theme park
If Disneyland is about adrenalin-pumping thrill rides and soft, comforting hugs from Mickey Mouse, then Disney’s California Adventure, a new theme park opening right next to Disneyland on Feb. 8, is a large, fluorescent, three-dimensional valentine to the state of California. If you’re not in love with the Golden State before visiting this new theme park, perhaps you will be after a quick spin through the turnstiles.

Applefan--I recall seeing some threads on the California Adventure but don't recall which group they are in. Perhaps you should try to run a search.
My memory recalls that most of the people did not care for the park--it has a few decent rides, but not many. It is way too crowded with inadequate benches, etc. The day that my family went we got to ride a total of 4 rides all day due to the extreme overcrowding. Out of the 4 rides only one was truly worth waiting in line. The Limo and Muppet rides are really poorly thought through and not worth ANY amount of waiting time.
