Disney’s latest theme park
If Disneyland is about adrenalin-pumping thrill rides and soft, comforting hugs from Mickey Mouse, then Disney’s California Adventure, a new theme park opening right next to Disneyland on Feb. 8, is a large, fluorescent, three-dimensional valentine to the state of California. If you’re not in love with the Golden State before visiting this new theme park, perhaps you will be after a quick spin through the turnstiles.

Has anyone had the chance to visit Disney’s California Adventure yet? I'm thinking about going to Disneyland in early May but I'm not sure which of the parks I should go to.

Applefan--I recall seeing some threads on the California Adventure but don't recall which group they are in. Perhaps you should try to run a search.
My memory recalls that most of the people did not care for the park--it has a few decent rides, but not many. It is way too crowded with inadequate benches, etc. The day that my family went we got to ride a total of 4 rides all day due to the extreme overcrowding. Out of the 4 rides only one was truly worth waiting in line. The Limo and Muppet rides are really poorly thought through and not worth ANY amount of waiting time. |
