The flights to South Africa should not count because they are not non-stop in both directions.

The problem with the original question are the many different variables as to what qualifies as a trans Atlantic flight.
A flight that goes non-stop in one direction but is forced to make a refueling stop on the reverse is not a non-stop flight in my book.
To keep the playing feild even, you need to have certain guidelines otherwise you start comparring apples to oranges.

Hello flight mileage experts! Where do you find your mileages? Is there a website with the data? I'm flying to Bali soon and am curious to know the mileage I will accumulate. Thanks for any responses.

In the airline's timetable (e.g. DL list mileage both in their printed timetable and in the 'more info' section by a flight in the online version.)
