Priceline.com???
Hello, this is my first post....
I was wondering if anyone has any success / horror stories through using priceline.com for their plane tickets. I usually go through travelocity.com, and was wondering if I could get any better deals.

Thanks!
Dave.

Priceline is good if you do not mind travelling at odd hours and make a connection or two. Can get same week UA Shuttle tickets (SJC-LAX) for $100.

I like Priceline for hotels. I think the hotels application is excellent. I have paid about 40% of what I would have otherwise paid. Unless you are set on staying at a certain place, or you are likely to have to change your plans, Priceline for hotels is a winner IMHO.

Another question: (excuse my ignorance...)
How many times can you bid for the same tickets (or hotel for that mater)? I'm looking to go from ORD to Copenhagen, Denmark...can I put in a bid for $300, and when that is reject put in a bid for $350 or $400?

Thanks!
Dave.

just another quick ditto -
after you familiarize yourself with Sheryl's board, you'll be a "Priceline Pro."
remember - flying priceline won't generally earn FF miles.

For Hotels. Brilliant. Sheryl's board a MUST to read.
Make sure you get $20 added to your bid by entering via here:

FWIW, AA has a fare from ORD-ARN (Stockholm) for only $356. Strangely enough, Priceline recommended me to increase my bid to high $500 for the same route...
