We were prepared, but no bumps happened from Birmingham, AL - Memphis - SFO or return. Drat!
I don't think we'll get bumped on the way to NY either, we're flying on Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.

I thought denied boarding/involuntary bumping compensation was set by good old Uncle Sam. But I think on AA the compensation is the price you paid for your ticket (minimum of either $200, I think?) in cash, plus guaranteed reservations on next flight out.

$100 for denied compensation is IMHO a feeble attempt at a lie which would probably work for mere mortals, but for FT'rs, not very believable
