For 2001:
BA Gold - requalified already!
UA1K - qualified for the first time this year. Currently 138,000, by the end of the year 190,000. Decided not to fly extra to get 200,000 since it doesn't sound like there will be anything extra.
AA Plat - will be doing the Platinum challenge. Taking only 1 flight from LAX-SYD on QF First making over 10,000 points!
DL Silver - only flown 15,000 but I assume DL will only drop me one level at a time.
Marriott Platinum - already qualified, too many nights to count. Maybe 150?
Starwood Platinum - already qualified, around 50?
Hyatt Platinum - already qualified.
Bottom Line: Only AA to go!!!

Rudi,
Thanks for looking at my website. It is because my husband and I do all the work for the business that I don't often have time to participate. We do the website ourselves as well as a paper catalog and most of our flights are in conjunction with going to knife shows around the country to keep ourselves stocked every month.

Gong please!
After eight years of FF memberships in Delta and UA I will finally for the first time in my life make it to an Elite level.
Next weekends mileage run SFO - MKE on CO will get me to just over 50,000 NW World Perks miles for 2000. Yeah!
I thank the board for helping me choose between UA and NW.
And all for only about $1650 (my aunt paid for my trip to Spain, for which I insisted on KLM despite the five (!) hour layover at AMS).
Gold Elite, here I come. Bring on the 100% bonus miles.

I'm DL Gold, and I have never heard of DL Escape. What is it, where can I get details?
DL - Gold Elite (?) : 83 segs a/o 10.11. Had a trip to coporate (SAN) scheduled for 1st week in Nov. that got cancelled yesterday. Too bad, thanks to fellow FTers, used itn.net to make it 6 seg trip from ATL. Fortunately, am a member of DL Escape, and may be able to make Platinum that way (along with a lot of day trips to SAV,MYR,RDU, or any other AirTran city
).
As always, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.[/B][/QUOTE]

Really funny... I flew about that this year (although most on DL, I am Gold) and MaxMiles puts me in the top 28.7%!

Can't seem to find runs any that will rack up 25k status miles that I can afford so I guess I just hope for next year.
Intering note: Milesmax says "based on your flight activity in 2000, you are on track to be in the top 3.7% of all frequent flyers!"
And they don't even list all my programs. Funny I don't feel like I'm in the top 3.7%

This has gotten out of hand!
I will complete my Gold Elite for CO with a weekend trip SAN-EWR-FLL-EWR-SAN as suggested by MRLIMO or CIGARMAN.
Even worse, I have now decided to go for the Platinum with a trip to BKK in Dec. It is those AMEX Double and Triple miles! Plus all those other bonuses.
After getting my DL AMEX card, I called NW and asked that my ticket be issued on the new card for those DL miles. That will help me clear that 10,000 mile in 6 months reguirement for the 50,000 mile bonus by a long shot. Fortunate, They hadn't issued the ticket with the 'other' Amex card.
What's next? I am glad my welfare check will be arriving shortly!
