priority pass lounge info?

Does anyone have experience using the priority pass lounge program. Since I have elected not continue my Delta Platinum level, I find myself needing a lounge program.
My Choices:

1. Join Crown room $225/ get 5000 ff miles.
2. Priority Pass $225

I will be flying mostly Continental in the coming year. Any suggestions for my lounge choice?

Thanks for any advice!

PGA Pro -

I find myself in the same situation. I have viewed the website, www.prioritypass.com and have now emailed them to find out specifically where their member clubs are in DTW, DPS, IAH, and SFO. Won't do us much good if they are DL clubs and we're flying NW/CO!

By the way, know that while PP has many CR's included, the hub ones are NOT.

You guys are kinda S.O.L. with Priority Pass...there "main" connection domestically are with the America West, TWA and Delta lounges.

They currently DO NOT allow access to CO or NW lounges. You'd be better off investing in either a CO or NW lounge membership, as both offer reciprosity.

Later!

Join the CO Presidents Club. You get to use the NW and HP clubs with your membership.

that actually works for me because i'm dropping to gold on dl and will lose crc access, and i just made gold on nw, which doesn't grant any free access. and since i'm in ny, they have coverage in all 3 airports. i assume you don't have to be flying with that particular airline do you?

now all i need are other worldwide locations, primarily in europe. anyone know where and who the operating airlines are?

Thanks for all the useful info...I am still thinking it out but have added a possible Presidents club membership to my original options based on your suggestions.

Just an update, NW WC have been added in several cities including DTW, MSP, and MEM which makes it ideal for delays. I'm seriously considering it.

Do US Priority Pass members not have to pay an additional fee EACH time they use a PP lounge ?

In the UK, in addition to the basic membership, we have to pay aound $15 for EACH lounge access !

Chris L -

yes, if we buy the basic $99 membership, each visit is about $20. However, for $295, we get unlimited solo visits.

(though I think DL CR may allow family + one visitor, no?)
